How people give permission to receive text messages, and how they stop them.
LeadHarvest is operated by Launchpad AI, LLC. Service businesses use it to reply to their own incoming leads by text message. Consent is collected on the lead-capture form that each business embeds on its own website, using the LeadHarvest widget served from https://www.getleadharvest.com/widget.js.
The consent checkbox is optional. A visitor may leave a phone number and decline text messages, and the enquiry still reaches the business — agreeing to texts is never a condition of getting in touch. What it does change is what may be sent: if the box is not ticked, no SMS consent is recorded and no text is sent to that person, automatic or otherwise. A visitor may also leave only an email address, in which case no phone number is collected and the checkbox is irrelevant — an email enquiry never becomes permission to text. Consent is never pre-checked, never bundled into other terms, and is collected per business: agreeing to hear from one business does not opt anyone in to messages from another.

After submitting the form, the person gets a reply from the business about their inquiry, followed by messages related to that job — scheduling a visit, an estimate follow-up, or an appointment reminder. Message frequency varies by conversation. Message and data rates may apply. These are conversation-based service messages, not marketing blasts.
Representative messages:
Reply STOP to any message to stop them. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT work the same way. Opt-outs take effect immediately and apply to every future message from that business.
